Kiddo Green and the Three Pearls: The HAUNT

Previously, Kiddo had passed out, owing to the fact that she’s been underwater way too long and the magic breathing pearl expired.
BUT, Gilbert came to her rescue and literally dived into Kiddo’s pocket to retrieve one of the three pearls that Kiddo had found.
And he saved the day! Just before Gum came over to see what the ruckus was about.

Unfortunately, similar to most pants in women’s fashion, fish have no pockets.

I feel like Alice has a good point here. Kiddo gave absolutely NO warning. It was quite scary for the big purple fish.
Bonus content: SKETCHIOLOGY!!
Welcome to the first episode of Sketchiology where we comb through the Archival Department to reveal, never before seen (in public), historical evidence of L.Burvant's creation process of the, genuinely adored, comic, Kiddo Green and the Three Pearls (KG3P).
Today we see an early iteration of the KG3P character lineup. Notice that Kiddo has no shoes. It is not widely known that the artist LOVED to draw bare feet. It may have been a fetish, but this is just speculation.
Turn your attention to the very bottom of the page, where we see that the artist added a significant notation (determined by the star and three exclamation points) of the date that they finished writing the story of KG3P. Very exciting indeed.
Also, in light pencil behind the character lineup there is one of the first designs of Alice. We believe that the artist was trying to determine the relative size of the large purple sturgeon that we have all come to dearly love today. Researchers believe that the artist never did quite settle on a permanent size right away, since Alice’s length, relative to Kiddo, seems to fluctuate from page to page until later in the second act of the KG3P series.
There is another early portrayal of a beloved animal here, the charming little Coco. It’s seems she started out much smaller than her final size that we see in the comic. Too cute.
This concludes today’s episode of Sketchiology. Thank you for joining us.

See ya next week,

... I hope the answer isn't to carry it around in their mouths for mouth-to-mouth resuscitation again... 😅😆
